In this section, Our members and viewers can vote by clicking on thumbs up, thumbs down or neutral signs to give their feedback about a certain personality. We then calculate the Percentage of positive, negative and neutral votes by using the following basic mathematical formula of calculating percentage:
Positive Percentage = ((Total number of thumbs up / total votes) x 100)
Negative Percentage = ((Total number of thumbs down / total votes) x 100)
Neutral Percentage = ((Total number of neutral / total votes) x 100)
Secondly, "Weighted Score" is calculated by evaluating the difference between positive and negative votes and multiplying the evaluated difference with total number of votes. Following formula is used in calculating "Weighted Score":
(( +VE %AGE - (-VE %AGE)) * Total Votes) = Weighted Score (It may be positive or negative)
1. ((1464 / 5826 ) * 100) = 25.1 %
2. ((4258 / 5826 ) * 100) = 73.1 %
3. ((104 / 5826 ) * 100) = 1.8 %
4. ((25.1 - 73.1) * 5826) = -279648
1. ((1015 / 1225 ) * 100) = 82.9 %
2. ((181 / 1225 ) * 100) = 14.8 %
3. ((29 / 1225 ) * 100) = 2.4 %
4. ((82.9 - 14.8) * 1225) = 83422
We need a group of good men who would haul Pakistan out of its present demise. Corruption is rampant in the high and low of Pakistani politics and the demon of greed has manifested itself in all its glory. Is a new world possible? It will take time and consistency of action but yes we believe it is, if you are willing to take that first step. Most developing nations are not immune to rogue elements which are a part and parcel of all societies, disinfect yours. Identify the pests putrefying your nation.
You may think your rating or vote is immaterial to the outcome. Casting your vote and throwing your one in 7,000,000 opinions in a hat might seem like a completely pointless exercise. Do it for the simple reason that ‘the more people who vote the greater the chance of a happy result’ provided of course that you vote for the superior candidate.
