Mr. Asad Qaiser is a Pakistani politician and one of the oldest and prominent workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf[citation needed] who is currently presiding over its provincial chapter of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and also serving as the Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. Poltics He joined PTI in 1996[citation needed]and began his political career as a worker for the party. He moved up the ranks over the years, he was initially appointed as the Provincial President of PTI in 2002 till 2011[citation needed] when the provincial leadership was dissolved by Imran Khan prior to the Intra Party elections. On March 2013, he swept the Intra Party elections[citation needed] by defeating his opponents Parvez Khattak and Masood Sharif Khan Khattak with a large margin[citation needed].
