A real scum of the earth, shameless and a traitor, who has a deep love lost for the Indians. As a matter of fact he should not be given a slightest importance as someone has suggested in the aforementioned paragraphs. He is a disgrace for the nation and the country. HE and his associates like Muno Bhai, Nusrat Javed (Bolta Pakistan) and many others should be banned from given space on at least state run media channels.

Shan Siddiqui ( Karachi,United States) Wednesday, July 15, 2009 5:23:03 AM (MDT - USA)
Imtiaz Alam is GHADAR-E-AZAM, Indian agent. Pakistan must have strict laws about treason and media. If media presents him every day it means those TV channels are getting money from India TOO. He should be tried for treason.

Please see the article below,as we want you to stop this happening in Sind. You are aware that the Arabs are acquiring large land holdings for the same purpose, pls pass it on to all of your fellow journalists for a campaign against this move. Muhammad Ali A Pakistani living in west Africa. Africa becomes wary of farm deals-land activist Tue Jun 9, 2009 3:47pm BST * De facto moratorium on African land investments * African states paying more attention to deals By Wendell Roelf CAPE TOWN, June 9 (Reuters) - African nations are becoming more cautious in selling farmland to foreign investors, with governments paying closer attention to deals that could lead to social unrest, a leading land activist said on Tuesday. In a bid to overcome reliance on food imports, countries in Asia and the Gulf have been at the forefront of farmland purchases in the world's poorest continent where millions survive on subsistence farming. However, these so-called "land grabs" have drawn sharp criticism from land activists -- who raised concerns of exploitation -- as well as some international donor agencies, the African Union and the European Union. [ID:nLS816189] "I think there is almost a de facto moratorium (on land purchases)," Namanga Ngongi, president of the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), told Reuters on the sidelines of food security seminar in Cape Town. Ngongi said foreign-funded AGRA, which aims to ease poverty by focussing on food security and access to markets, supported investment -- as long as it was mutually beneficial and not one-sided. "There is a lot more reflection going on ... It is something that every country should weigh because governments are sitting on a box of dynamite if they take decisions likely to cause upheaval in their countries," Ngongi said. He said governments needed to consult widely, especially with small farmers, before signing deals that may increase poverty. International agencies report that since 2004 about $920 million has been

very dishonest, very cheap clearly RAW agent.

gustakhjee ( Karachi,Pakistan) Friday, March 20, 2009 3:27:58 AM (MDT - USA)
Great Program but I think rather than engaging, we should leave the characters like Mr. Alam alone. If a politician does get a vote and a journalist could not get a space in news is already a natural death. Dear Mushtaq don't try to revive/give life to such people.

ABID AZAD KHAN ( LONDON,United Kingdom) Sunday, March 08, 2009 6:19:21 AM (MDT - USA)

Ghadar-e-Azam, Imtiaz Alam, How much he is getting from India? A security risk for Pakistan. Must be brought to justice for treason. Pakistan must bring strict laws regarding treason.

No scholar, thinker and researcher have real and supreme true spirit of Islam. Dignitaries do not listen and allow to participate in the affairs of serious concern. Do't read e-mails and supreme truth of common man. I do not like to write much, want to leave my phone No. 972 548 1584 to call me and explore what ideas this man has. Thank you very much.

Muhammad Saleem Jami ( Karachi,Pakistan) Sunday, February 22, 2009 12:24:52 AM (MDT - USA)
Imtiaz Alam is the most truthful and sensible person in the field of journalism, who has very deep understanding of the issues and criticizes which now a days Pakistani society facing and has solutions too and know the cause roots of these problems and always sincerely try to bring the issues in black and white but do not try to complex the issues for society by lying through print and electronic media. These comments are not given with any motivation but sensing and judging the truth of Mr. Imtiaz Alam and I have full confidence that people like him are the true server of this unfortunate nation who is put in miseries by the half truth speakers.

aurangzeb khan ( peshawar,Pakistan) Sunday, February 15, 2009 10:19:51 AM (MDT - USA)
Imtiaz Alam, He is most dishonest and person without any morals. On one hand we have people like haroon Rasheed and on other hand we have this sold conscience journalist like imtiaz alam. He has been on dhako zardari pay role. He has benefited the most from selling his self respect. He another sold journalist like nazir naji who just follow the bone without identifying whose hand it is. These so called journalists has weakens institutions and strengthen dictatorship in the country. These journalists are shame similar like abdul hameed dogar and his allies judges. Time has come to punish those who has stood with dictator and weaken lawyers movement such as imtiaz alam, nazir naji, abbas, hameed dogar, faqir khokhar and other sold judges. They should not only be fired but try in court of law with live coverage. That is the only way to stop military take over and judiciary coup.
