Mehnaz founded Children’s Global Network Pakistan (formerly known as Children’s Resources International Pakistan) with the mission to provide the best to the poorest. Mehnaz is bringing about a quiet revolution in Pakistan’s education sector through large-scale implementation of a much needed modern global teaching and learning methodology into thousands of classrooms across Pakistan.
Her innovative and extensive work on Early Childhood Education and intergenerational learning in particular is widely recognized in Pakistan. She is an avid advocate of the fact that children are all the same and will respond very well to equity based education. The program not only focuses on children’s education but also on mother’s literacy. It has a very strong gender component and 80% of the beneficiaries are women including students, educationists and mothers. Children’s Global Network Pakistan (CGN-P) is recognized as one of the most credible educational institutions in Pakistan.
Mehnaz holds a Masters Degree in Anthropology from the Quaid-e-Azam University and a Masters from Institute of Strategic Studies Sussex U.K in Gender and Development.
