Details of Prof. Ghafoor Ahmad

Details: M.COM from the university of Lucknow in 1948. Also completed the course of Industrial Accounts. Taught in various institutions which include Institute of Chartered Accountant Karachi Karachi, Jinnah Institute of Industrial Accounts.

Achievements: Elected as a member of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation in 1958. Elected Member of NA in 1970 and 1977 from Karachi. Secretary General of PNA in 1977-78, also member of the PNA team that undertook crucial negotiation with Mr. Z.A. Bhutto. Served as Federal Minister for Industries during 1978-79. Also remain S.G of IJI (1988-90).
