Details of Shiekh Waqas Akram

Sheikh Waqas Akram (Urdu: شايكاهواقاساكرام‎; born 26 August 1974) is a Pakistani politician and a Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from Jhang. He successfully stood for election two times in constituency no. NA-89 Jhang-IV. He is Minister of State for Labour and Manpower.He studied at Jhang and graduated from the University of Queensland in IT.

Political career

He was voted in with the highest number of votes cast in NA-89 from the party PML-Q. Previously, he had been Parliament Secretary of Pakistan and is currently a senior vice President of party PML-Q. As of 2011 he was Member of National Assembly of Pakistan and Minister of State for Labour and Manpower.
