Sheikh Rashid has many hypocrisies in his personality and politics. He claims that he has a spiritual association with Shorish Kashmiri. Shorish Kashmiri was one of all time greatest orator of Urdu language; audacious, maverick and a man with a matchless courage. Shorish spent his whole life in struggle against dark forces. He spent 17 years of life in the Jail. He was an icon of resistance against the dictatorial rule of Ayub khan. His struggle against British rule is a vivid chapter of our History. Can we believe Sheikh Rashid is a follower of Shorish Kashimi? I am sorry to say, there is no resemblance. Sheikh Rashid has memorized some phrases of Shorish and he often uses these in his addresses and talk shows. Words/phrases without moral ground have no meanings. Sheikh Rashid’s character contradicts what he says; he can be the follower of Skindar mirza, Ghulam Muhammed and Yayha khan, but not of Shorish Kashmiri. Another Claim of Sheikh Rashid “ma Pakistan kay Kofa ma Darban-i-hussain hon”, the term “darban-i-hussain” has come from a Shorish’s speech. Let me know if his character has any association with Hussain A.S. Hussain sacrificed his life and family but did not accept the authority of dark forces. On other hand sheikh was a right hand man of a dictator. It is an established fact that Musharraf’s mother was a dancer. She used to charm others in late night Parties with her dancing abilities. She won awards for this (Her commando son has shown pride on this in his book). Sheikh Rashid tried to link this dancing woman with Bibi Fatima. Even musharraf was astonished when he was called “Syed Musharraf” by this so called “Farzand-i-Rawalpindi”. Sheik Rashid says he chase his enemies till the grave………..unfortunately it is just a dialogue. There are some more stories among the masses; so immoral and shameful…..that this forum can not afford such vulgarity. People of Rawalpindi will confirm these. Sheikh Sb has some “Nawabana Shoq”.
