LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader Chaudhry Sarwar says his party can never be a part of any alliance between the PML-N and PPP because they are pursuing anti-people policies.

Responding to Bilawal Bhutto’s statement on proposed alliance of the PPP, PML-N and PTI on Monday, he said the PML-N and PPP’s political future was bleak and the masses had started hating both parties’ leaders. He said any political party, which would enter into alliance with the two parties, would also be doomed.

Mr Sarwar said the PML-N wanted to make Punjab a “no-go” area for the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) but the real democracy could never be ensured without eliminating corruption. Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s adviser Dr Yasmin Rashid says party workers are ready to elect their leaders of choice within the party and strengthen its chairman.

Talking to the party workers in connection with the intra-party elections, she said the ideological workers would elect their true representatives in the party elections who would eventually protect their rights in the party.
