LAHORE: Issuing a charge sheet against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, PML-N media coordinator Muhammad Mehdi has posed questions to him, alleging him of corruption and urging him to reply to the queries.

In a press statement, he asked the PTI chief to tell the public as to why he had dismissed two election commissions designated to hold the PTI’s intra-party elections.

“Why did you derail intra-party elections? For what reason did you not act against those proved guilty in the probe initiated by the party’s former election tribunal head retired Justice Wajihuddin?” he asked.

Mr Mehdi also called upon Imran to tell the masses that being a so-called political whistleblower why he did designate a bank defaulter as the PTI information secretary.

“Who stopped you from appointing Shoaib Suddle to investigate the corruption of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak as demanded by former KP minister Zia Afridi?” he inquired.

Mr Mehdi said the people eagerly wanted to know why the money donated to the Shaukat Khanam Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre was invested through nameless companies and how the money was sent abroad.

“It has puzzled the people that under what law the Bank of Khyber did not take action on the Khyber scandal?”

And last but not the least “why did Imran Khan drag from the collar PTI’s US member Mehboob Aslam when the latter asked for record and audit of funds worth $3million?” he asked.
