10 injured as building in Karachi collapses

KARACHI: A building located at the city's busy Abdullah Haroon road collapsed on Tuesday, injuring as many as ten people.

According to details, the two-storied building was constructed on a nullah. The building collapsed after the nullah was filled with gas and a huge explosion was triggered, injuring as many as ten people. Rescue officials reached the place and started carrying out relief activities. The injured were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.

Two passersby were also injured in the building collapse. Vehicles parked nearby were also damaged and three mobile shops were completely destroyed due to the collapse of the building.
