NZ win first Test against Pakistan

CHRISTCHURCH: New Zealand have won the first Test match against Pakistan cricket team by eight wickets at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.

New Zealand led the 2-match series by 1-0.

New Zealand’s skipper Kane Williamson played brilliant innings and made 61 runs. Opener Jeet Raval was not out for 36 runs.

NZ need 105 runs to win against Pakistan in first Test

Pakistan set 105 runs target against New Zealand in the first Test. Sohail Khan was the only batsman to score 40 runs in the second innings.

Colin de Grandhomme got the player of the match award for his brilliant bowling against the Green Shirts. Grandhomme took six wickets in the first innings. – Samaa
