Farmer killed by Indian firing in Sialkot

SIALKOT: A farmer was killed while four others were injured which included three women when Indian army started indiscriminate shelling of the villages along the Sialkot Working Boundary in the small hours of Sunday.

Assistant Commissioner of Pasrur while talking to reporters said that the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) fired several shells in the Thati Khurd, Theekariyal, Harpal, Jarwal and Charwah villages at a timewhen people were having their Sehri. The dead and the injured were transferred to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Sialkot by the Rescue 1122 officials. According to officials, the Pakistani Rangers contingent responded furiously to the Indian shelling which continued for about two and a half hours till 3:30 am in the morning.
