Younis Khan returns home due to the death of his nephew

The veteran Pakistani batsman Younis Khan will miss the rest of the ODI series as he returns to Pakistan due to the death of his nephew.

Younis Khan is returning home after the death of the son of his brother Saeed Khan, who was receiving treatment in India of liver transplantation.

Younis Khan was making his comeback in the One Day Internationals after a long break of one year, before the first ODI of the ongoing series, YK played his match in March 2013.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided not to send any replacement of Younis Khan.

Reports are that Mohammad Hafeez is willing to bat at one down position and has talked about it with the think tank.

There are fair chances that Sharjeel Khan will once again get the opportunity to open the innings along with Ahmed Shahzad.

Shaharyar Khan has sent a message to Younis Khan in which hehas said,“I am deeply saddened at the passing away of your nephew. Pleaseaccept my condolences, and convey these to your family as well"

Pakistan is leading the three match series with 1-0 and willplay the second game of the series tomorrow in Hambantota.
