Saeed Ajmal that has been suspended by the ICC due to having an illegal bowling action has given his consent to start remedial work on his action with the inventor of Doosra, Saqlain Mushtaq.

The top ranked ODI bowler will start working on his action with the PCB’s Illegal Bowling Action Committee that consist Mohammad Akram, Aleem Dar, Ali Zia and Dr. Sohail Saleem. The retired spinner Saqlain Mushtaq will take care of Ajmal after his arrival to Pakistan on Septmeber 22.

The committee has a strategy to get him mentally prepared before undergoing the rebuilding of his action.

The team is keen to work with the star spinner, however, they have to wait for Saqlain to arrive, but, they cannot waste this precious time and would invest it on his counseling.

The positive thing is that Ajmal has stated that he is not much bothered with the decision against him and would keep playing domestic cricket in this span of time.

Saeed Ajmal talking to the media said that he is determined and will make a comeback to the international cricket very soon. He added that the legendary Saqlain Mushtaq will definitely be very helpful as there are many similarities between his and Saqlain’s bowling.

Ajmal has shown a ray of hope to the sad fans of Pakistan that there are players available for Pakistan, who will perform better than him in his absence.
