Ajmal optimistic about his official bowling test

ISLAMABAD – Pakistani cricket team off-spinner Saeed Ajmal on Wednesday said that he was hopeful of positive outcome of his official bowling test scheduled on January 24, this year in Chinnai.

While giving interview to a private TV channel after his successful unofficial test conducted in England. Ajmal said that his positive unofficial test had imroved his confidence which would be very supportive during his official test. The off-spinner added that he was thankful to Almighty Allah and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Sheharyar Khan for his support.


Ajmal, who was titled as ‘Magician’ by cricket experts, said famed spinner Saqlain Mushtaq had worked hard over his bowling action which made him bowl within the designated 15 degree angle. He said that he had also bowled his ‘Doosra’ during the test which was also cleared. To a question, he said right now the only thing on his mind is clearing his official test so that he could bowl again in international cricket.
