Yemen conflict: Siraj wants Pakistan to mediate with Turkey

MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Chief of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj-ul-Haq on Monday suggested government of Pakistan to play role of mediator along with Turkey on the issue of Yemen, ARY News reported.

He gave the suggestion to PML-N government while speaking to media in Mandi Bahauddin.

Talking about operation in Karachi, JI Chief said no discrimination should be observed during the clean up process of the metropolis.

Siraj-ul-Haq said Karachi operation should not be used for political gains. He advised Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to handover militant elements of the party to law enforcement agencies.

He hoped to see lasting peace in Karachi.

Replying to question, Siraj-ul-Haq said any amendment in Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreed between PTI and government to probe rigging in elections will be considered as fraudulence.
