NOWSHERA: Awami National Party provincial president Ameer Haidar Khan Hoti has said PTI chief Imran Khan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak should start accountability from themselves before taking action against others.

He was addressing party workers here on Sunday. ANP senior vice president Jamal Khattak, information secretary Engineer Hamid Ali, Abdul Samad and others were present on the occasion.

Mr Hoti claimed the civil bureaucracy in the province had either got themselves transferred to other provinces or went on leave due to the wrong policies of the provincial government.

He said the PTI-led government had failed to initiate any mega project in the province over the past two years.

Hoti said the province was passing through critical phase owing to poor law and order and rising unemployment, but the provincial government blamed the federal government for the situation.

The former chief minister expressed satisfaction over the ANP performance in the local government polls.
