Shahid Afridi donates Rs 2mn to JPMC

KARACHI: The Shahid Afridi Foundation on Wednesday donated Rs 2 million to Jinnah Hospital, Karachi to improve medical facilities there, ARY News reported.

Pakistan’s star all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi today visited JPMC where he was disappointed to witness poor health facilities at the Emergency Ward of the hospital.

Afridi on behalf of his charity SAF donated Rs 2 million to the hospital for enhancing medical facilities and vowed to support in future as well.

The cricketer-cum-humanitarian urged the Sindh government ‘to wake up and take notice of the problems faced by JPMC management and provide proper medical facilities to the poor’.
