PTI decides to attend APC over CPEC

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Friday decided to attend the all parties’ conference summoned by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to discuss matters pertaining to China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak and senior party leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi would represent PTI in the conference

The prime minister will take the parliamentary leaders into confidence over CPEC project. He will also try to remove misunderstandings of the political parties about the project.

It should be mentioned here that different political parties voiced reservations over the economic corridor project. In today’s meeting, the PM will lend ear to these reservations and try to remove them.

The parliamentary leaders will be given a detailed briefing on the routes and other projects under CPEC, Senator Mushahid said after chairing a meeting of Parliamentary Committee on the CPEC.
