Rana Sanaullah rules out organized Daesh network in Pakistan

LAHORE: Law Minister Punjab, Rana Sanaullah has asserted that there is no organized network of militant group Daesh in Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference here Wednesday, Rana Sanaullah said government had not received any evidence regarding organizational structure of Daesh in the country.

However, he accepted that only a few people from Pakistan went to Syria while many were stopped from doing so in pre-emptive action.

It has been ensured Daesh activities could not spread in Pakistan, he maintained.

The law minister went on to say that law enforcers were best performing in Punjab, adding that LEAs were also taking actions in Kacha areas as well.

Rana Sanaullah said that cities in Punjab do not have a situation similar to Karachi.

After Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah also criticized National Accountability Bureau, saying that NAB should perform its duties with responsibility.

He added that NAB would not be allowed to take action in order to please others and balance its actions, being taken in other provinces.
