Aamer Sohail (born Mohammad aamer Sohail ali on September 14, 1966 in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan) is a former professional Pakistani cricketer and PCB Chief Selector. He, along with Saeed anwar, formed one of the best opening combination the Pakistan cricket team ever had.

After retiring from cricket in 2001, Sohail became chief selector for the national team, his tenure was ended on January 2004 when he was replaced by former national team wicketkeeper Wasim Bari. He continues to work as a cricket broadcaster.

Mr Aamir Sohail As a player I respect you a lot but having seen you on ARY and listening to comments I was shocked. I thought that being Pakistanis, we have to respect our players and team. What you commented about Mr. Imran Khan was shame full. Then all the nation of Pakistan saw that you were smoking live on a channel. Shame on you man. Don't try to pin point others, first correct yourself.
