Raja Nadir Pervaiz Khan was born on November 11,1942 in Faisalabad. He was elected as MNA on a PML(N) seat. This is his fifth term as MNA. He currently serves as Chief Organiser of the Youth Wing of PML(N).
He is a businessman by profession. He graduated from the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakool in 1963 and served in Army until 1974. He has been elected MNA for the terms of 1985-1988, 1990-1993, 1993-1997 and 1997-1999. He has also served as Federal Minister for Interior during 1987-1988; Minister of State for Water and Power during 1991-1993 and Minister of State for WAPDA and Communications during 1997-1999.
He is currently President of the Pak Wattan Athletic Association and was awarded Sitara e-Jurat by the Government of Pakistan on two separate occasions. Married with two sons and two daughters, his hobbies include horse-riding, walking and reading.
