Syed Talat Hussain Naqvi is a Pakistani journalist, foreign policy commentator and television personality. He is the primary anchor, as well as executive producer, of the current affairs show Live with Talat which is primary on air by the Express News. Before, he has been an executive director of AAJ Television and had also worked for PTV and Dawn News. He has written for Newsline, Daily Dawn, Time Magazine, Daily Times (Pakistan), Daily Express and occasionally contributed to India Today.

Family

Talat Hussain was born into a family from Syeds, Chakwal district. He is the younger brother of anchor and famous analyst Rifaat Hussain, who works for News One.

Hussain is married, has 2 children, and lives in Islamabad.

Early career

In the late 1990s, Hussain ran the morning news show Sawaray Sawaray on PTV. Later, after the opening of PTV World, he started another program called News Night.

He established ARY’s Islamabad office and headed the team that launched PTV World News. He has held key positions of Director, News & Current Affairs with Pakistan Television Corporation, Prime Television (UK) and Telebiz. Currently he is Director News at Aaj TV and also write occasionally for Daily Express, an Urdu newspapers since July 2008. Currently he is working in express news and still working there

Last date 31 march 2012 for distribution of 5% bonus in company profit. please amend in company profit act of (worker's participation) 1968, 5% bonus will be distributed to every employee. other wise 5% bonus of profit will be refunded to Govt account.

Asalam o alaikum Introducing ourselves, we are the Master and PhD candidates studying in various institutions of China under the Cultural Exchange Program funded by Ministry of Education, Pakistan. Ministry of Education of Pakistan has taken the decision to block our monthly stipend i.e. 200 USD for Master and 300 USD/month for Doctorate degree students. Furthermore, we didn’t receive our stipend since March, 2009. We are constrained to live here by hand to mouth and it has become almost to study and live without financial aid. We have been trying to communicate with the office of ministry of Education and they always fool us by making lame excuses like “the fund is not approved yet”, “fund has been approved and summary has been sent to finance department”, “summary is not signed yet”. We are supposed to listen all these rubbish except a hope for stipend. To continue study without financial aid while most of us are engaged in hectic research activities is almost impossible. This mean action of ministry is affecting our educational activities in specific and life away from our homes in general. We are intending to write this brief application to you as you are one of the most influential and most read columnists all over the country. We are in great hope that you can channelize our voices for our rights and can convey our peaceful protests t higher authorities so that they must take some practical measure to resolve this problem.
