SC to hear disqualification petition against Imran Khan, Jahangir Tareen

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Wednesday will hear petitions seeking disqualification of PTI leaders Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen as MNAs.
A three member bench of the apex court will hear the petition filed by Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi.
In the petition, Abbasi has accused the two Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders of hiding assets and money laundering.
Khan’s counsel Naeem Bukhari has submitted a plea in the SC seeking dismissal of the Abbasi’s petition.
Bukhari, in his petition, stated that Abbasi is nominated in the ephederine case back in 2012.
