Khurram Dastgir Khan (born 3 August 1970) is a Pakistani Politician and a Member of National Assembly of Pakistan currently serving as Federal Minister for Commerce in Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Cabinet. Education He attended Cadet College Hasan Abdal, later he moved to USA where he completed his B.Sc. Engineering from California Institute of Technology and then B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College. He is a life time member of Pakistan Engineering Council. Political career He ran for the Parliament of Pakistan in General elections of 2008 and 2013 from Constituency NA-96 on PML-N party ticket, winning both times. During 2008-13 he served as Chairman of the standing Committee on Commerce and as a member of the Public Accounts Committee and the special Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir affairs. On 7 January 2014 he took oath as Federal Minister for Commerce in Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Cabinet, before that he was working as Minister of State in Ministry of Commerce.
