Born on the 25th of July, 1960 in Lahore, Mian amer Mehmood is the first Nazim of the City District Government Lahore.

After having done his M.B.A from the Punjab University, he chose education for a career and launched the famous Punjab Group of Colleges in 1985 that culminated into the University of Central Punjab and Mohammad ali Jinnah University, Karachi.

This is one of the greatest success stories when it comes to higher education in private sector.

In last summer holidays I was in Lahore to refresh my memories of childhood in Lahore. I together with my family visited Minar-e-Pakistan Shahi Mosque and Lahore fort. I was very dishearted to see that lahore authority has allowed Wagon Adda there which is which looked very awkward in this landscape. I shall request the authorities to remove this Wagon Adda some other place to restore dignity and grace of Lahore fort , Shahi Mosque and minar-e-pakistan. I hope my request will bring about some action in this regard .

I am of the view that in spite of the fact that the syllabus of Accounting in B.Com has obsolete. And most of the topics covered like Hire Purchase, Contract accounting and Disposal of Assets have completely a different treatments., why you have not ever tried to change the syllabus.
