Qazi son of (late) Qazi Zahid ali was born on 24.2.1952 at Karachi, did MA & then L.L.M from University of Karachi & starts practice at Karachi in March 1980; enrolled as advocate High Court in May 1982 and then as advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan in January 1996; placed on the panel of approved advocates of Habib Bank limited, United Bank limited, alied Bank limited, National Bank Limited, Muslim Commercial Bank, National Development Finance Corporation, Karachi Electric Supply Corporation Pakistan, auqaf Department, Evacuee Properties Trust, Customs Department since 1982: elected twice Member Provincial assembly of Sindh in 1993 and 1997 from the constituency of PS-96 Landhi Karachi East then Minister Education Sindh since March 1997 to October 1998; Ex-Office Pro-Chancellor University of Karachi, N.E.D Engineering University Karachi, Sindh University Jamshoro, Mehran Engineering University Jamshoro, Shah abdul Latif University Khairpur, Quaid-e-Awam Engineering University, Nawabshah and Sindh agricultural University Tando Jam from March 1997 till October 1998;
Ex-officio Controlling authority of Sindh Board of Technical Education from March 1997 till October 1998;
visiting Professor S.M. Govt. Law College, Karachi since 2003 till November 2007;
Additional advocate General Sindh from March 2003 till November 2007;
in recognition of his services in the field of Law, Education and Human Rights, Preston University (USA has awarded Honorary Ph.D degree in 1999;
then Governor of State of Taxes, Mr. George W. Bush (now President of USA) conferred and declared him Honorary Texan in 1996;
author of three books on the subjects of law of evidence, social legislation and manual of Sindh excise;
visited USA, UK, Europe and Middle East; Government of Pakistan has appointed him as special Public Prosecutor to conduct the cases before custom and taxation court Karachi in 1988; Government of Sindh has appointed him special Public Prosecutor to conduct the cases of Electricity theft before K.E.S.C Court in 1982 and also Special Prosecutor for conducting the cases before Special Court to respect of offences in Defunct Investment Companies in 1990;
Member Governor Sindh''s Legal advisory Committee since 2002;
member board of Governor''s of law Colleges in Karachi since 2003;
placed on the panel of Director Research for L.L.M Thesis University of Karachi since 2003; Member Board of Studies for Law, University of Karachi since 2003; more than 80 reported judgments of High Court and Supreme Court as an advocate and additional a.G. are in his credit; he has been elevated as additional Judge of High Court of Sindh on 4th November 2007.
