I know Khawja Asif for the last about more than 30 years. Previously his father Kh.M.Safdar was a prominent politician. He has two faces, one before the media and one hidden. Such like people dont like any other person to contest election in his constituency. He is very proud person. Although he speaks much about merits but he like and posting of the Officers of his own choice in District Sialkot so as to get pleased his kith and kin. For example Pervaiz Iqbal Butt District Revenue Officer, Meesam Abbas Sub Registrar, who are posted in Sialkot for the last more than 10 years. Such like politician think that he has the only right to contest and elect and none else. This tendency must be discouraged. SA Chaudhary Sialkot

‘Pakistan’s Oligarchy democracy and theFeudal system. In democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism it's your count that votes. Democracy is when the indigent and not the men of property are the rulers All the Pakistani politicians unfortunately, are blowing the same old trumpet of western style democracy, not realising that Western style democracy in Pakistan will not work where educational social and economic equality is nonexistent. Democracy works differently in different parts of the world. The institutes are overlapping; the concept of democracy is separation of power without the separation of power democracy cannot go towards devolution. Bureaucracy defends the status quo long past the time when the quo has lost its status. Pakistan needs a theory on revolutionary democracy which should be based on Pakistani demography, Pakistan is ready for revolution, unfortunately without the theory of revolution, there cannot be a revolutionary movement, and without a revolution Pakistan will stay under the same Oligarchy democracy and Feudal system, unfortunately there is no revolutionary theory on the horizon in Pakistan. Insanity: Keep on electing the same people over and over again and expecting different results. It’s not the rulers who are strong it’s the ruled who are weak Zaman from London

What does Kh Asif mean by 'Hamari Quam' is he referring to the privileged class? While I abhor Siraj Ul Haq's party's philosophy of exploiting religion for politic ends, he has a point. The country's leadership is tainted with corruption and come what may these few families are always in power. And their claim of going to jail carries no weight. These chaps do not see the rough end of life in jail and they are given preferential treatment during their stay in jail. The present turmoil is the result of years of neglect and exploitation of the masses. The country's leadership has the singular honor of skimming of the national resources and playing Mr Clean. The Taliban have exploited this discontent among the victimized masses and is playing it up. The common man wants justice and law that is uniformly applicable every citizen. Its as simple as that- dummies. Return the stolen wealth to the masses.

I have no hope from sherif brothers at all. they are popular but not leader worthy for us. leaders do not leave country for personal sake. sherif family and benezir should have stayed in Pakistan and challenged dictatorship of pervez musharaf and save Pakistanis from affects of war 'for' terror. but these so called 'leaders' only live in Pakistan when they are in power. pml(n) should ask forward block mpas to resign from their ppml(q) membership & contest on pml(n) tickets in by election. considering exceptional popularity of pml(n) after restoration of ch. iftikhar, these mpas can easily won their seats again. why pml(n) not sets a good democratic example for future? but hopes are fainted from pml(n) 'leadership'.
